The Ticket Operations Coordinator works with the Ticket Sales Director and Ticket Operations Manager in managing the day-to-day operations of the sales and service forces for Center Theatre Group, Mark Taper Forum, Ahmanson Theatre and Kirk Douglas Theatre. The Ticket Operations Coordinator is also responsible for assisting in the implementation of projects and ticketing support needs for the sales and service departments.
Work closely with the Ticket Sales Director and Ticket Operations Manager to support all ticketing system operations and to support internal and external departments and clients.
Assist in managing Tessitura ticketing setup needs as directed.
Coordinate promotional offers for Center Theatre Group events including discounts and staff comps.
Assist in the coordination of patron communications regarding ticketing and service issues with voice mails, emails, and postal mail as needed.
Train and assist key staff on Tessitura software including but not limited to list generation and other reporting needs.
Assist the Ticket Operations Manager with Center Theatre Group Website support and testing team to review and update user journey experience data.
Assist with all web and internal ticketing issues.
Assist in all Opening Nights, special events, and off site events as needed.
Assist Ticket Sales Director, Ticket Operations Manager, and Box Office Treasurer managing and releasing inventory for ongoing sales for all venues.
Assist in the supervision of the Ticket Operations Interns through interviewing, hiring, training and evaluation.
Assist in creation of daily, weekly, seasonal and other periodic sales reports.
Assist on research projects to track trends and chart sales history to better enable Center Theatre Group to forecast sales.
Ensure that training of sales and service staff is implemented in all sales departments.
Assist in overseeing and updating the company’s intranet site.
Participate in all necessary meetings.
Other duties as may be assigned.

Knowledge and Essential Skills
Practical knowledge of sales & marketing techniques and implementation.
Tessitura Ticketing or equivalent CRM software knowledge is desirable.
Understanding of ticketing, including box office & front of house issues.
Fortitude with staff & clients, while asserting authority and decision.
Excellent ability to problem-solve.
Minimum requirements: Essential functions and abilities
Strong mathematical logic.
Demonstrate an ability to work in a fast paced, time sensitive environment.
Knowledge of office equipment, computers, internet/e-mail, and ticketing systems.
Proficient communication skills (written/verbal).
Education, Experience, and Licensing
Degree from a 4-year college or university preferred.
Minimum of 1 year in marketing/sales and/or information systems.
Basic working knowledge and passion for professional theatre.
