The Ranch, Larimer County Fairgrounds and Event Center is seeking a skilled individual to join our team as Senior Event Manager. Senior Event Manager will manage the Events Department for The Ranch Events Complex, including management of event employees, public and special event utilization of the The Ranch facilities and buildings. This position will oversee marketing, budget and sales efforts of The Ranch, events, and activities. Directly supervises Department Specialist II and Event Coordinators I and II and the Sales Manager
Research, evaluate, and recommend events that may be successful to recruit, develop, and/or produce at The Ranch. Work with the Director to identify promoters that will partner with these and other events.
Manage the planning, budgeting, and operations of the annual Larimer County Fair & Rodeo, Gnarly Barley Brewfestival, Big Thunder Draft Horse Show, Good Guys Car Show, other appropriate campus-wide events, and all Ranch self-promoted events.
Calculate and provide clients with estimates of costs and expenses; assist with event accounting and billing functions for sales proposals and large events for the sales staff.
Design the set-up, plan, and coordinate large, national or campus wide events and facilitate all logistics for each event, including coordination with other employees and outside vendors.
Plan and implement recommendations to the facilities for the improvement of all events and provide recommendations to the Director of The Ranch regarding capital improvements as well as master planning.
Attends events and supervise activities; writes event reports; resolves event issues and complaints; makes last minute adjustments; ensures event is set up as contracted.
The Ranch Events Complex is a 244-acre site located in Loveland, CO. Our facility is designed on a circular plot, standing at the center a person is never more than 300 yards from any one space. The Ranch Events complex is comprised of event buildings, beautifully landscaped lawns, as well as indoor and outdoor arenas. The Ranch campus also includes the Budweiser Events Center, a 7,200 seat multi-purpose venue utilitzed for events such as Colorado Eagles Hocky, concerts, comedians and monster trucks.
Five or more years of experience in a directly related field or in the performance of similar duties and responsibilities.
Equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid Driver's License.
