Lakewood's Heritage, Culture and the Arts (HCA) Division is comprised of Lakewood Cultural Center (LCC), Lakewood Heritage Center (LHC) and Washington Heights Arts Center (WH). Responsible for programming, monitoring and settling City-ticketed events held in City facilities as well as overseeing day to day operations of the LCC ticket office. Responsible for accounting and analysis of all HCA revenue and attendance. Duties include reviewing and/or settling and preparing LCC deposits compiled from end-of-day reports at LCC and revenue and attendance tracking and reporting from all HCA facilities and satellite programs including those at other non-cultural arts City of Lakewood facilities. Responsible for hiring, training and supervising variable part-time ticket office staff. This position participates in and supports planning and implementation of programming throughout HCA facilities as a member of the HCA team.

Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, liberal arts or related area preferred.
A minimum of three years of experience managing computerized ticketing box office operations (not movie theater experience), including single ticket and subscription sales, preferred. ShoWare ticketing software experience, preferred. Minimum three years supervisory experience, preferred.
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Working knowledge of computer hardware and related equipment.
Working knowledge of word processing and data processing software.
Demonstrated ability with basic accounting functions.
Demonstrated ability of basic budget and cash management principles.
Ability to handle sensitive or stressful situations with tact and diplomacy.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisor, employees, tenants, volunteers, and the public.
Ability to demonstrate and model excellent customer service skills.
Effective written and oral communication skills.
Criminal background check required.
