Utah State University Athletics is looking to hire a motivated ticketing professional to work as the number two staff member in the Athletic Department Ticket Office.
The Assistant Director of Ticket Operations responsibilities will include:
Hire, train, and supervise part-time employees of the athletic ticket office staff, including students. Manage and set-up all non-athletic events in Paciolan. Manage and set-up all Volleyball, Women's Basketball, and Gymnastic events in Paciolan, and assist with football and men’s basketball. Act as the box office manager at all Volleyball, Women's Basketball, and Gymnastic events. Act as the box office manager in absence of the Assistant Athletic Director for Ticket Operations during regular business hours and at events. Provide assistance to the Assistant Athletic Director for Ticket Operations for Football and Men's Basketball on game day. Provide assistance to the Assistant Athletic Director for Ticket Operations for season ticket mailings. Balance daily ticket sales, process bank deposits, and be responsible for all daily reconciliations using CA authorization in Paciolan. Communicate daily with the controller's office regarding daily deposits. Communicate daily with Aggies Unlimited (athletics development) regarding all donations made. Assist Assistant Athletic Director for Ticket Operations with other duties as assigned. Assist with managing the ticket office on a daily basis as far as customer service. Assist with managing all part-time ticket sellers (approx. 20) Assist with serving as systems manager for our computerized ticket and booster club computer systems. Assist with handling ticketing requests for away games (football, men’s basketball, etc.) and administer tickets in compliance with NCAA and Mountain West Conference regulations and guidelines. Assist with overseeing the processing, assigning, allocation and mailing out of all season tickets for Utah State Football, Volleyball, Men’s and Women’s Basketball, and Gymnastics. Other Duties may include:
Process bank deposits Balance daily ticket sales Monitor sales for season and individual events Report totals in a timely manner Backup counter and phone sales Monitor and order office supplies Process and track payroll Monitor and verify general ledger accounts and change funds Serve as liaison for the ticket office Prepare supplies and change fund for all events Set up non-athletic events using Paciolan
Ticket Office Paciolan Experience
Effective communication skills using various mediums
Sales or customer service experience, preferably in a college athletic environment
Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office suite and web based computing
Ability to maintain a pleasant and helpful manner under stressful conditions
Ability to find a solution which meets both the customer needs while not compromising office policy
Event management experience, preferably in a college athletic environment
Full-time Division I athletic department experience
