Disney Theatrical Group is currently seeking an analytical self-starter with strong communication and organizational skills to join our team as Manager, Sales & Ticketing. This position requires a candidate to possess experience in inventory and yield management, ticketing operations, sales and strategic planning, keen relationship management expertise, and understanding of the Broadway market.
This individual will report to the Senior Manager, Sales & Ticketing. Primary responsibilities include the day-to-day ticketing operations management and sales analysis of two Broadway productions; optimizing grosses and attendance utilizing yield management techniques; executing special offers and events; and forecasting results. In this role, the individual must work daily with internal partners such as company management, marketing, and finance; and externally with box offices and various third party sales partners, with the goal of the seamless execution of ticketing operations and superior guest experiences.
Manage the ticketing operations and yield management responsibilities of two productions, including:
Daily analysis and implementation of yield management techniques
Establishing initial pricing using various analytical methodologies and working with box offices, Ticketmaster, and Nliven to ensure proper implementation in the ticketing system
Providing inventory oversight in coordination with Box Office Treasurers
Developing and managing direct-to-consumer partnerships, including offer development and site placement as appropriate
Cultivating high volume sales partner relationships in the Broadway (group sales & direct-to-consumer) and Disney fan environments
Forecast revenue for assigned productions
Maintain sales budgets for assigned productions
Oversee guest service for assigned productions
Present stories derived from data to senior leadership
Light travel is required throughout the year
3-5 years’ experience in the entertainment/theatre/sports industry with proven proficiency in data-driven decision making
Extensive knowledge of Ticketmaster and/or other ticketing systems
Understanding of and existing relationships with the various sales partners in the Broadway community
Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to present to senior leaders
Advanced aptitude with Excel
Willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
A passion for the Disney brand is preferred
