Texas State University, a member of the Sun Belt Conference, is seeking applications for the position of Assistant AD for Ticket Sales and Operations (Mgr, Ticket Office). This position is a 12-month appointment, full-time benefits eligible position.
This position reports to the Associate AD for External Operations and the Associate AD for Business Operations. This position supervises three full-time staff members.
This position is responsible for the management, administration and supervision of the Texas State Athletic Ticket Office (ATO). Specific duties include supervision and training of ticket office call center and operations staffs, manage game-day ticket sales and operations, manage and serve as primary liaison for the ticketing and donation software system (currently Paciolan), establish and implement internal controls for the ATO, prepare ticket sales reports, manage season ticket sales and renewal processes, manage ATO annual operating budget and other duties as assigned. This position requires compliance to conference, NCAA and institutional policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications: ability to supervise and oversee the work of others, ability to manage the fiscal affairs of a ticket office, skill in establishing rapport with internal and external constituents, demonstrated effective communication skills and ability to work nights and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with additional consideration for Master’s degree, knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations, previous experience working in an intercollegiate athletic ticket office and experience with ticketing software with additional consideration for experience using Paciolan.
