K-State Athletics is seeking qualified applicants for a Sales and Marketing Assistant, which is a temporary, full-time, benefits-eligible position for up to 24 months.
An example of job responsibilities includes but is not limited to the following: •Direct oversight over the development and implementation of all marketing, advertising, group tickets and sales plans for three assigned sports (volleyball, baseball and soccer) with a focus on increasing attendance and revenue. Will also assist with sales reporting and analysis to help the department make fact-based marketing decisions. •Design and edit advertising materials including a weekly email newsletter. •Oversee and manage the set-up of Cat Town (K-State Football’s tailgate tent program). •Develop and implement post-game and end of season surveys for all of K-State ticketed sports.
Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, advertising, public relations, sports marketing or related field
Two years experience working in a collegiate athletic marketing office
Must have strong written, interpersonal and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
Experience with Microsoft Office
Must be able to work evenings and weekends
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign or Illustrator)
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment

Additional Salary Information: Estimated annual pay of $20,800 with paid overtime.
