The University of Missouri is now accepting applications for the full-time, benefit eligible position of Development Assistant - Stewardship & Events. Reporting to the Assistant Athletic Director of Development - Stewardship & Events, this position will be responsible for the coordination and facilitation of special events, including but not limited to, staff functions, donor receptions, football recruiting receptions, golf tournaments, individual sport banquets and reunions; assist in the coordination and oversight of annual Coaches Caravans; assist with donor related football and men's basketball premium seating game day operational duties; assist in the coordination of and allocation of donor related benefits ( annual fund, premium seating, football & men's basketball booster clubs); oversight of the Mizzou Ambassador Program; facilitate and coordinate annual student-athlete 'Thank - A -Thon'; communicate with fans, alumni and donors regarding donations, parking, ticketing, priority point system, club levels and matching gifts while providing exceptional customer service via in-person visits, phone and email; assist with mailings, solicitations and audits and perform other related duties as assigned.
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired is preferred. Previous development experience is preferred. Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record and be insurable.
