The Event Coordinator has primary responsibility for selling and booking events or activities at Berry Center arena, stadium, conference center and theatre. Based on assignment, events may include: meetings, conferences, training sessions, sporting events, concerts, performances and recitals. Work involves: communicating with prospective and confirmed lessees regarding facility availability; scheduling meetings; conducting tours; working within allocated budget; and advising clients of services available within the complex, outside contractors, and other community organizations in order to plan, book, and coordinate events and activities at the facilities and produce contracts and draw layouts. Duties include: responding to telephone and website inquiries by prospective and confirmed lessees concerning rates; investigating available dates and compatible spaces for new and repeat clients; updating information by entering data into a computerized database and event management system; and writing contracts. The employee also performs general sales and marketing functions; provides input to the sales and marketing plan;and completes sales and/or sponsorship forecast. The nature of the work requires a good working relationship with the general public and excellent customer service skills. This person performs related duties as required.

The Berry Center is a public assembly facility that features an 8,000 seat arena, 11,000 seat stadium (CF-FCU Stadium), 486 seat theatre and 15,000 sq. ft. conference center with 4,000 on site parking spaces located in NW Houston. It is owned by the Cy-Fair Independent School District which is the 3rd largest K-12 school district in Texas.
