Coastal Carolina University, a NCAA Division I institution and member of the Sun Belt Conference is accepting applications for position of Ticket Operations Specialist. The position will assist the Director of Ticket Operations in all daily athletic ticket office operations including; single game and group ticket sales and fulfillment, student ticket allocation, database management and gameday operations. The position will assist the Director of Ticket Operations as necessary in working with the athletic business office and university auditors to guarantee proper accounting procedures are followed including the development and maintenance of appropriate accounting forms, daily sales tracking reports and game audits. Evenings and weekend hours required. Travel may be required as necessary.
Qualifications: Bachelor degree required. Experience in athletic ticket sales and operations are preferred. Excellent written, oral, and computer skills are necessary. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. The ability to sell through both written and verbal correspondence as well as direct selling skills is important. Must work well in a team environment with full-time marketing staff members, student workers, coaches, other athletic department staff members, campus staff, and members of the greater community. Must have basic knowledge, understanding and adherence of NCAA, conference and university rules and guidelines.
