About Lucky Seat Lucky Seat is an audience development tool that helps promoters, shows, venues and teams build their fan database and, if needed, discretely sell tickets. Lucky Seat has quickly built a database of over 3 million fans that will spontaneously go out to events. Lucky Seat clients include Hamilton, Jujamcyn Theaters, Broadway Across America and Live Nation.
Summary We are seeking an organized, resourceful and proactive individual to serve as Sales Director for Lucky Seat. Now in its third year of business, Lucky Seat is seeking to hire a Sales Director with the initiative to grow the number of events using Lucky Seat for concerts, sports, family events and Broadway. The ideal candidate is a driven, self-starter who has the ability to serve as a respected and trusted face of Lucky Seat within the sports and entertainment industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES • Initiate and manage client relationships with venues, producers, promoters in the live entertainment and sports industries. • Meet and exceed agreed upon goals for quarterly client activations. • Act as liaison for feedback loop for development team for new product features. • Attend trade shows and act as primary representative of Lucky Seat to prospective clients. • Research and identify new sales opportunities for Lucky Seat
QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s degree required • 3+ years of business development experience with a consistent ability to exceed goals • Strong relationships within the sports and entertainment industry • Excellent networking skills • Extremely motivated with a proven ability to build, implement and execute a successful business development growth strategy • Positive attitude, flexibility and a high level of integrity • Passion for the sports and entertainment industry
