JOB PURPOSE AND FUNCTION Under the general supervision of the Senior Director, Ticket Sales & Development, the Account Executive, Ticket Sales & Development will serve as an active member of the Ticket Sales & Development team. The Account Executive is responsible for selling a full menu of ticket options to Texas A&M Athletics events including but not limited to football, men’s and women’s basketball, baseball, softball, soccer and volleyball. In addition, the Account Executive is responsible for soliciting memberships and contributions to the 12th Man Foundation.

Sell season tickets, mini plans, group tickets, and single game tickets for football, men’s and women’s basketball, baseball, and softball.
Call current and previous ticket buyers and cold-call new leads to generate sales
Cultivate current and past groups and new prospects to generate sales.
Contact area businesses, youth organizations, and other large groups to promote the group ticket program
Contact area businesses via phone, networking events and face to face meetings to sell season tickets and mini plans
Work all home football game days and other athletic home events as determined by the Senior Director, Ticket Sales & Development, to service ticket buyers
Achieve and exceed weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals.
Provide superior customer service to prospects, ticket buyers and donors throughout the season
Develop relationships across department lines within the 12th Man Foundation and with Athletics Department employees

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Demonstrate a proven track record in sales and building quality relationships
Strong desire to work in college athletics
Ability to appropriately articulate the ticket options via phones call and in-person meetings
Candidates should have a history of success in ticket sales, preferably with a major Division 1 university or professional sports
Candidates should have a minimum of 12 months of sales or customer service experience
Proficient in all applications of Microsoft Office; and internal donor management systems, ticketing systems, and/or CRM a plus
Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekend, holiday, and evening hours
Ability to travel as needed to complete duties and responsibilities
