The Air Force Academy Athletic Corporation is looking for a Ticket Office Manager to perform the following duties:
Manage all day to day operations of the Air Force Athletics Ticket office with the Assistant Athletic Director of Ticketing.
Manage all ticket related functions for home football, men’s and women’s basketball, volleyball, hockey, wrestling and special events including sales, will call, player guest, recruit, and VIP ticket distribution. Complete all related reporting.
Work closely with marketing, ticket sales and development staffs to maximize revenue generation.
Manage Air Force Athletics use of ticketing/donor management platform (AudienceView), working with software representatives to maximize effectiveness and innovation.
Work with AudienceView to assist with order entry and customer inquiries for ticketing and donor accounts
Coordinate staffing of part time workers to assist with ticket office operations.
Work with donors and customers, Air Force Athletics coaches and staff, Air Force Academy faculty and staff in addition to the general public on a daily basis, ensuring great customer service.
Assist with the supervision of personnel to include training and enforcement of procedures,controls and problem resolution.
Perform revenue reconciliation and provide detailed sales and financial reports on a timely basis, maintaining all ticket office records.
Assist the Assistant Athletic Director of Ticketing and other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in sport marketing, administration, management or a related field is required. Master’s degree is preferred.
At least two years of experience in collegiate or professional ticket office.
AudienceView or other ticket software experience.
Team player that works cooperatively and collaboratively with other business units.
Experience supervising, mentoring and providing direction to others.
Strong attention to detail, organizational, verbal, writing, customer service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays depending on work and game schedules.
Strong time management, ability to stay focused through interruptions, thrives in team environment, strong analytic and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, work as part of a team and motivate staff in a fast-paced environment.
Understands and upholds standards befitting the USAFA and Air Force Athletic Department.
Must be authorized to work in the US and successfully pass a background check. Random drug test is required.
