Key leader in the Blumenthal Ticketing Department. Develop, motivate and leads a professional and efficient, customer focused sales and fulfillment team. Manages the day to day operations of regular and event box office(s), phone room and fulfillment. Manages ticketing supervisors, subscription sales agents and customer service representatives. Responsible for staff sales training, scheduling, and adherence to proper reporting and accounting practices. Reports to the Director Ticket Sales and Customer Service.
Develop, motivate and lead the team that sells and fulfills tickets to Blumenthal theater events and Carolina Tix clients. Responsible for creating a team oriented work environment that supports achievement of sales goals and the delivery of excellent customer service.
Plan, manage and supervise the day to day activities of the box office, call center and fulfillment staff. Plans, assigns, manages night-of-show box office coverage and responsibilities and report requirements. Provides key input to help plan and manage annual staffing budget.
Manages ticketing sales supervisors, subscription sales staff and general call center/box office staff; duties include scheduling, instructing, assigning and reviewing work of others, maintaining standards, coordinating activities, allocating personnel, acting on employee problems, selecting new employees, and recommending employee discipline and discharge. Reviews the work of subordinates for completeness and accuracy; evaluates performance, provides coaching to staff.
Identify and monitor key analytics to evaluate staff, service, processes and procedures and respond to problems identified by these metrics on a daily basis.
Responsible for compiling daily sales reports and preparing the daily bank deposits. Prepares revenue statements for all internal ticketed events. Reviews and reconciles CSR batches; runs closing reports. Prepares and/or submits batch reports, statements, credit card reports, integrity reports, correspondence, etc. Handles other reports as assigned by the Director of Ticketing.
Ensure ticketing auditing processes are in place and all employees are following approved practices and procedures for handling cash and inventory management.
Receives and responds to customer inquiries and complaints; resolves problems.
Communicates information / procedure changes to staff. Works with marketing and programming departments to facilitate staff training on upcoming events.
Identifies and organizes in conjunction with the system administrator, training on Ticketing System
Requires a college degree and a minimum of two years of direct experience supervising and motivating staff, preferably in a customer service environment, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Prior experience in a call center or ticketing sales strongly preferred, as is prior work experience on ticketing software.
