Overview: The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee is looking for a qualified candidate to work in collegiate athletics to serve as Ticket Sales Assistant. Our campus is located on the Upper East Side, one of the city’s most attractive residential areas. Panther Athletics has over 300 student-athletes participating in 15 NCAA Division I sports as a part of the Horizon League.
Responsibilities: Reporting to the Assistant AD-Ticket Sales, this position will serve as a ticket sales assistant in the ticket sales and event services department. This position is primary responsible for responsible for soliciting and cultivating outbound ticket sales – full season & partial season plans, group sales and promotions for men’s and women’s basketball in conjunction with the Assistant AD -Ticket Sales. Ticket Sales Assistant is also responsible for group and member stewardship on game day and provide an elite customer service experience for all fans including ticket purchasers, season ticket members, donors, alums, and students. This position will also assist in the game-day ticket operations and fulfillment duties for all sports. Other duties include fulfilling charitable donations, organizing database, prospecting sales leads, and other duties as assigned.
Appointment: This position is a 10-month appointment with anticipated start date in mid-late July. Candidates must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Salary: This position includes a $15,000 salary over the 10-month appointment.

Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree is required. Experience in ticket sales in collegiate or professional sports environment or a related field is preferred.
Skills: Successful candidates will have excellent communication and organization skills, problem solving and decision-making skills that produce results. Strong interpersonal skills are needed to work well in a fast-paced team environment
