Reporting directly to the Senior Associate Athletics Director for External Relations, responsibilities include, but not limited to, overseeing the implementation and execution of marketing and advertising plans for assigned sports, including, but not limited to: football, men's basketball, women's basketball and Olympic, oversee all student marketing to include student ticketing, loyalty and rewards loyalty and rewards digital platforms, and utilize social media to increase student awareness and attendance. Organize and supervise all on campus marketing endeavors, organize and manage new student orientation presence, transfer orientation, week of welcome and etc. Serve as the game day producer for assigned sports, assist in management of student staff, manage the mascot and spirit squad programs and perform other duties and responsibilities as required, assigned or requested. Adheres to all NCAA, Conference, and institutional rules and regulations.
Oversee the implementation and execution of marketing, promotions and advertising plans for assigned sports, including, but not limited to: football, men's basketball, women's basketball and Olympic. Creates and implements in-game promotions, executes pre-game and during game promotions.
Oversee all student marketing to include student ticketing, loyalty and rewards digital platforms, and utilize social media to increase student awareness and attendance. Organize and supervise all on campus marketing endeavors, organize and manage new student orientation presence, transfer orientation, Week of Welcome, etc.
Serve as the game day producer for assigned sports. Assist with the development and implementation of the overall game entertainment strategy and overall fan experience. Management of game day timeline and script development. Liaison with Corporate Sponsorship and Bulls Vision to support in-game video board productions
Manage the mascot program, including tryouts and selection, public appearances, budget management, awarding scholarships, etc. Direct oversight of all spirit squad head coaches (Co-ed Cheer, All-girl Cheer, and Dance Squad)
Create content for use on social media, in emails, etc. to promote games and events. Direct oversight of our graphic designer position. Approve collateral for use in print, digital, and social media.
Supervise OPS positions and student interns in facilitating marketing projects.
Performs other related duties and/or projects as assigned.
This position requires a Bachelor's degree in communication, marketing, public relations, technical writing, digital media, or related field, with two years of experience in related positions; or a Master's degree in the fields listed above. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
