The Fox Theatre in Atlanta is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Coordinator, Group & Tour Operations.
The Coordinator, Group & Tour Operations will assist and coordinates the daily operations of the Group Sales & Tours program at The Fox Theatre. The incumbent will also performs a range of duties including generating and nurturing leads, processing and servicing all requests for groups & tours, handling all group customer inquiries, and producing status reports. The core focus of this position is cultivating and maintaining relationships that will realize established annual revenue, ticketing, and attendance goals for The Fox Theatre Group & Tours Sales program.
Coordinate and process all phases of group contracts; book orders, secure deposits and payments for group ticket sales, group tours, and VIP tour reservations through Paciolan ticketing system. Also serves as the liaison with Fox Theatre Ticket Office.
Active supervision of tour operations including; training, scheduling and supervising tour guide staff. Arrange internal VIP tours with as requested by Fox Theatre Staff.
Maintain database and track Group Sales leads, inquiries, lost business, sales revenue, and provide ongoing status reports as requested.
Assist department in the formulation and implementation of proactive Group Sales & Tours marketing campaigns, including e-blast, mailers, etc.
Develop targeted group outreach events and programs; make personal appearances (off-site) to sell group tours to the Fox Theatre.

Knowledge, Skills, & Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
Proven experience as a sales coordinator or other administrative positions will be considered a plus; previous ticketing experience preferred
Must have working knowledge of computers and must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel
Must be well-organized and responsible with an aptitude in problem solving and must have strong customer service and sales skills
Must have professional communication skills and positive attitude always
Candidate should be comfortable communicating via telephone and email
Must be a team player with high level of dedication

Sometimes remaining stationary for long periods of time
Sometimes traversing building, including traversing between floors, for long periods of time
Occasional lifting of moderate weight such as boxes of files or marketing materials
Some periods of reaching, bending, lifting, carrying, or stooping
Must be able to work variable shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
