The Assistant AD, Business Analytics is responsible for the collection of departmental data, analysis, and recommendation of future strategies for the University of Miami Athletics Department. This position will focus on the analysis of all data related to ticket sales, online retail sales, partnership sales, digital analytics, as well as coordinating with the finance department on organizational budgetary reporting. The Assistant AD, Business Analytics will collaborate across multiple departments to provide insight and recommendations to ensure the department is operating at the highest level.
3-5 years of experience in a data-driven role (preferably in the college or professional sports industry).
Proven track record of using data analytics to increase revenues/decrease expenses.
Strong financial modeling skills.
Highly skilled in Excel, including the ability to build complex spreadsheet models, pivot tables, v-lookups, macros, etc.
Proven track record of working with diverse departments with the ability to communicate information to a diverse group of internal customers.
Experience with Tableau or other similar programs.
Bachelor's degree required.
Master’s degree preferred.
High level of attention to detail; strong organizational and planning skills.
Ability to work independently.
