ames Madison University, a Division I Member of the NCAA and Colonial Athletic Association, is accepting applications for the Assistant Director of Duke Club Analytics and Donor Records. This position reports to the Assistant Athletic Director for Customer Relations and Ticketing and will be responsible for overall management of donor records and gift transactions as well as the associated reporting and analytics required to support fundraising operations. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain a high level of communication, outstanding data management and reporting skills and professionalism as a member of the JMU Athletics staff. This position is a full-time, 12-month position with a full comprehensive benefits package.
This position will provide detailed reporting on Athletics fundraising to provide donor giving information, targeted segments for renewals and strategic campaigns, and specific donor giving summaries. Additionally this position will analyze fundraising data to support Duke Club efforts to include; providing cash flow projections; pace setting and bench-marking; reviewing giving trends for shortcomings and opportunities for growth. Operationally this position will manage all aspects of gift processing to track donor records and giving history. Collaborate with the Athletic Ticket Office to manage and utilize the Paciolan database and software systems while integrating with the university advancement information systems of record. Responsible for the management of State and Foundation budgets.
Experience using an account management system, reporting and performing data analysis is required; preference will be given to those with at least three years of experience. Candidates must have experience with data reporting systems and demonstrated knowledge working with Microsoft Excel data files. Candidates must possess the ability to maintain relationships with donors, other athletic department and campus staff; effective communication skills; the ability to perform detail-oriented; experience working in a team environment.
