Summary: The Group Sales Coordinator is a vital member of the Broadway at the Paramount Group Sales team. Reporting to the Corporate and Group Sales Manager, the Group Sales Coordinator is responsible for communicating with a devoted customer base for both the Seattle & Fresno market, assisting with business development, and conducting general administrative tasks as assigned by the Manager.
JOB DESCRIPTION: • Facilitates heavy volume of incoming phone calls and emails-Seattle & Fresno • Processes, organizes, and maintains group ticket orders • Builds customer accounts in ticketing databases, sells tickets, manages invoices, and processes payments • Services various group demographics including corporations, students, tour and travel, and friends and family groups • Responds to patron questions in a timely manner and with detail • Facilitates printing and mailing of group sales materials • Tracks patron activity and sales through various reporting methods • Coordinates inventory management between two ticketing systems • Builds online promo codes in ticketing database and web platform • Aids in preparation for and executing customer appreciation events and corporate vendor fairs • Assists on the design and implementation of brochures, newsletters, flyers, postcards • Provides support with client development and prospecting • Collaborates with Marketing, Ticketing, and Sponsorship departments to provide group ticketing needs • Provides ongoing support to Corporate and Group Sales Manager
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS NEEDED: • Bachelor’s degree preferred • Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook • Ticketmaster, Tickets.com, or other ticketing database experience a plus • Ability to learn a complex ticketing system with training provided • Superior customer service, attention to detail with strong organizational skills, and a pleasant phone manner • Self-starter who takes initiative and works well independently • Strong verbal and written skills • Sales experience a plus
SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS: • Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed • Reliable transportation to and from venue is essential • Comfortable sitting at a desk and fielding phone calls for an extended period of time
