Job Purpose Towson University is accepting application for a Ticket Operations Assistant. This position is responsible for assisting the Director of Ticket Sales and Operations specifically with ticket operations. This includes but is not limited to building events in Archtics, building promotional codes, and making sure events and theme days have inventory available to be purchase online and over the phone.
Description The Ticket Operations Assistant will build events and promotional codes in Archtics, including season tickets, individual tickets and group and business packages. Ensures ticket inventory is replenished and available on a game-by-game basis specifically promotional codes and theme days. Receives inbound phone orders for individual tickets as well as group and season tickets. Runs sales reports weekly and helps send them to senior athletic staff on regular basis. Assists with mailing and printing tickets for all phone and online orders. Builds student events (PID) and runs lists so all Towson students may scan one card into all home regular season events on campus. Assists in game day ticket operations, which includes running will call window/table. Serves as contact and provides customer service for group and premium packages. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent and one year experience working in sports or customer service. Experience using Archtics or similar ticket software. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with superior organizational skills and an ability to provide a high level of customer service. Bachelor's degree and proficiency with Archtics preferred.
Except for qualifications established by law, additional related experience and formal education in which one has gained the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for full performance of the work of the job class may be substituted for the education or experience requirement on a year-for-year basis with 30 college credits being equivalent to one year of experience.
A criminal background investigation is required for the hired candidate and the results may impact employment.
Salary and Benefits $13.10/hour and a contract that offers annual leave, holidays, sick days. Contractual employees scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week may be eligible for subsidized health benefits coverage. The position is contingent on funds being available at time of hire.
