Qualifications The Group Sales Agent is a self motivated, team player who has the ability to sell Broadway tickets to group leaders while providing top-notch customer service. The Group Sales Agent would be working under the Group Sales Box Office/Broadway.com Groups division of the John Gore Organization. Excellent phone skills are required for this position. The ability to process group ticket orders and provide timely, accurate responses to client inquiries are among the essential duties. We require an individual who is organized and who possess excellent communication skills. Attention to detail and the ability to multi task in a fast-paced environment are paramount to this position. Significant interest in Broadway Theatre as well as selling group tickets, are a must. Working knowledge of Microsoft word, excel, outlook, and prior ticket system experience a plus.
Responsibilities · Receive and respond to all incoming group sales phone calls and emails · Process all group orders taken over the phone or via web orders · Track deposits and payments for existing group purchases · Excellent follow through with customers is essential · Educate customers on Broadway product while staying informed of industry updates and changes · Develop customer relationships notifying them of new productions and opportunities · Upsell on other products such restaurants, and attractions · Knowledge of Broadway Classroom product and ability to upsell this program to customers · Be aware of and enforce all box office policies · Implement calling projects as needed · On occasion represent GSBO/Broadway.com Groups at various events
