The Festival Ticketing Manager is responsible for ticketing details and management support for the Ticketing team and C3 Festivals. In addition to managing the C3 Festival Ticketing Coordinators, the primary responsibility is to liaise with ticketing providers and C3 festival staff to coordinate event ticketing builds, on-sale maintenance, inventory management, working and patron credentials, box office structural coordination, and onsite support as appropriate for C3 festival events as assigned.
1. Act as Festival ticketing lead for major Festival events as assigned 2. Manage and oversee the C3 Festival Ticketing Coordinator staff 3. Efficiently execute event builds with venue ticketing system per C3 event guidelines 4. Effectively coordinate with appropriate C3 Festival Directors, Production Managers, Sponsorship, Accounting, and Ticketing Providers to execute accurate event builds, along with detailed sales information, and supplement onsite event planning needs for festivals as assigned 5. Collaborate with Ticketing Director to strategize event-based and interdepartmental best practices 6. Process and Fulfill ticket requests, internal orders, and other credentials for festivals as needed 7. Coordinate patron wristband fulfillment with the ticket provider’s distribution center 8. Design, manage, and distribute Artist/Talent/Media/Sponsor/Working/Patron credentials per event 9. Organize working meal tickets for festivals and events 10. Plan structural needs for onsite box office, ticket/wristband scanning, and gate operations 11. Manage and meet a Budget per festival/event 12. Prepare and provide reporting for ongoing sales updates and final settlement figures per festival 13. Oversee onsite festival ticketing operations, such as entrance/exit flow, ticket/wristband scanning, box office / will call / guest list operations, or other issues and areas that may arise 14. Be available to box office and ticketing provider personnel, Festival staff, Production Managers, and others during show days for any questions or problems that might arise 15. Communicate appropriately regarding event logistics with C3 festival team, ticketing provider, and Marketing regarding ticketing-related website information, or other needed correspondence to ticket buyers to communicate any event/festival patron details as appropriate 16. Support the C3 Ticketing team in the office daily as needed 18. Other duties and events as assigned
1. 3 years’ experience in staff management, as well as ticketing and box office operations 2. Knowledge of RFID, standard ticketing and festival event procedures and best practices 3. Must be organized, self-driven, goal-oriented, a problem solver, and forward thinking 4. Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and excel under pressure 5. Superior administrative skills, with great attention to details in order to ensure accuracy 6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with personable and professional disposition 7. Solid computer/database proficiency in Microsoft applications and Ticketing software 8. Flexibility in work hours and availability, especially during major projects and events 9. Some holidays, weekends, and early morning/evening hours will apply 10. Ability to travel frequently
