This position is responsible for managing and recruiting for our volunteer corps.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Schedule, assign, and sometimes manage volunteers during performances.
Oversee and manage training for volunteers on an annual and ongoing basis.
Strategize and recruit volunteers who reflect our programming needs.
Manage the volunteer database and input volunteer hours in a timely manner.
Provide open communication with volunteers by phone or email.
Network with other volunteer professionals to develop a “best practices” protocol.
Manage and implement volunteer recognition tools, including an annual party.
Serve as primary point of contact with Food and Beverage Services for scheduling volunteers as performance bartenders.
Provide backup administrative support to the Director of Audience Services.
Other duties as assigned.

House management or operations management helpful.
Should have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Should have strong communications skills.
Must be proficient in using computer software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and volunteer management software, Volgistics.
