Ticket Operations Manager, reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer of Golden Boy Promotions. This person would work on getting each boxing event ready for its Ticket Pre-Sale and Ticket On Sale. Also, this person would assist Senior Management in scaling the venues, work with venue box office staff to place promoter holds, manifests, sales audits, along with preparing in-house spreadsheets, maintaining ticket inventory, accounting reconciliation, processing ticket orders, etc.
Work with various venue box office managers to get the event live on their ticket systems (Ticketmaster or AXS).
Work on smaller shows using our in-house ticket system to build the event, print tickets and distribute to ticket buyers and to persons holding contractual obligations.
Maintain Excel-formatted spreadsheets with ticket inventory for each show, reconciling spreadsheets to box office sales audits and manifests.
Sell excess inventory to outside parties and sponsors. Come up with sales strategies to help sell unsold inventory.
Process credit card payments, provide wire instructions, and FedEx tickets to buyers.
Process consignment ticket orders and collect at deadlines.
Work with our internal Accounting Department after each show, billing clients and box office settlements.
Maintain spreadsheets and assign seating for broadcast partners, VIP’s, celebrities, staff and sponsors.
Prepare ticket verbiage as well as ticket information for press releases
Assist on day of show to ensure seating is properly set up, VIP seats are labeled, along with other tasks such as box office WILL CALL orders, recaps of sales, and reporting live attendance number to the PR department for distribution to the media.
Three year’s minimum experience as a Ticket Manager with a proven track record of sales success.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred but not required.
Strong verbal and written skills. Knowing Spanish is a positive not a must.
Strong sales and managerial instincts and the ability to learn from others.
Solid organizational and time management skills.
The ability to work long hours, including weekends, and holidays as necessary.
Exceptional customer service skills required.
Ability to travel.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.

Live in the Los Angeles Area and commute daily to the Downtown LA office.
