The LTAC Director is responsible executing the development initiatives that support the goals and objectives for growth of the athletics fund. Main focus of the position will be on growing annual fund memberships and donors up to the $1,000 level. Experience of event management is fundamental to this position as well as marketing and growing an annual fund. This position reports to the Associate Athletic Director for Development.
Primary duties and responsibilities for this position:
•Coordinate with advancement and athletics the day-to-day operations of the athletics annual fund [including but not limited to] developing an annual plan, establishing a solicitation schedule, fulfilling donor benefits, managing events, stewardship plans, and supervising the graduate assistant •Serve as Director of the Letterman's Club •Coordinate all event activities associated with Legend Day’s •Coordinate athletics activities with University Advancement •Utilize prospect management and database systems •Coordinate projects to athletic fundraising with the Athletic Department, Ticket Office, and other athletics entities •Serve as liaison for all sport-specific funds which includes providing direction, working with coaches and sending reports •Assist in planning and implementing meetings and gatherings of alumni and friends as joint projects of the Alumni Association and Foundation •Cultivate relationships with athletics donors and prospects to determine their interest with a goal of soliciting athletics gifts •Manage projects in a timely manner. Projects include solicitation, contact reports, benefit fulfillment and solicitation letters and renewals •Prepare printed and electronic messages and correspondence for proposals to and solicitations to prospective donors •Coordinate ticket delivery for premium club level and box level football tickets with Director of Donor Engagement to ensure timely receipt of payment •Other responsibilities assigned by the Vice President for University Advancement

A bachelor's degree
Experience in fundraising, marketing, sales, or related areas
3-5 years of athletics annual giving experience preferred
Proficiency in using full range of electronic and written communication tools and technology
Strong interpersonal skills and strong written and speaking skills
Ability to work well with coaches, student-athletes, administrators, and staff
