Gator Boosters, Inc located on the University of Florida campus is searching for a dynamic innovative candidate to work with the Major Gifts Development team. Cultivating donor relationships, identifying donor prospects and raising funds for athletic programs as well as exposure to various campus constituents make this position an exciting place to be! MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of progressively responsible Major Gift fundraising experience
Fundraising expertise with a proven record of success in securing major gifts
A professional demeanor with successful presentation skills
Proven successful negotiation skills
Exemplary communication skills
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license, a Florida driver’s license upon state residency
Ability to engage effectively with others of diverse cultures or backgrounds
Availability to work a non-standard work week which may include evenings, weekends, holidays
Extensive overnight travel 2 to 4 weeks a month
Ability to work with and protect confidential information
In the first 12 months of employment required to make at least 100 face-to-face qualification visits and build a portfolio of at least 25 major gift prospects.
Experience in an intercollegiate athletics or university environment
Success with prospect research methods
Excellent customer service skills
Demonstrated excellence in organizational skills
