The Assistant Director of Ticket Operations will assist in the oversight, management and accountability of the Louisiana Tech Ticket Office. This person will support the Director of Ticket Operations with all operations, sales and customer service efforts. This internship asks for a 12-month commitment, and includes a monthly stipend of $1,200 (gross income).
Your job duties include but are not limited to: 1) Process and assist in the printing, organizing and distribution of all season tickets, mini-plans, and all daily mail, phone and walk-in orders. 2) Assist in the hiring, training, scheduling, and managing of game day and box office staff, including student workers. 3) Assist with ticket operations for all LA Tech ticketed events, including supervisory responsibilities of one sales gate during football season. 4) Maintain up-to-date daily/weekly ticket sales reports. 5) Assist as the primary supervisor for women’s basketball and baseball. 6) Other tasks at the discretion of the Director of Ticket Operations.

The ideal candidate would have the following:
Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s preferred)
Knowledge and experience working with a ticketing system, Ticketmaster Archtics preferred.
Previous cash handling experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and superior customer service skills.
Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize MS Office Suite, specifically Excel.
Ability to adapt to changes, work efficiently under high pressure and produce accurate results in a fast paced environment.
Possess a team oriented attitude, relationship building, professional demeanor and attitude.
This position requires work during non-traditional hours (nights, weekends, and holidays).
Experience with Adobe Suite (Photoshop preferred).
