National Programming Group (NPG) is the internal heartbeat of iHM, providing core strategic & expert resources to help grow & manage the Radio & Digital businesses. The key areas of NPG are Programming & Ratings, Premium Choice & Premium Content, Talent Development, Artist & Music Industry Relations and the NPG Events & Theater business.
The NPG Events business produces & oversees all national iHeartRadio Events – our large “Tent Pole” Festivals (iHeartRadio Music Festival, iHeartCountry Festival, iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour, iHeartRadio Music Awards etc), other smaller Festivals & Events including Radio/Record Label Music Summits, on-site activation and externally organized festivals & events, and management of the two iHeartRadio Theaters in LA and NYC. This area of the business has grown exponentially since 2011.
The Ticketing Manager will be responsible for supporting all ticketing areas of the NPG's Events Business. This role will report to the Vice President of Finance, Ticketing & Strategy - Events & TV Production with a dotted line to the SVP Live Entertainment & Events.
Key deliverables include:
Tracking & management of all internal event ticket needs and requests.
Managing internal ticket sales websites including back end reconciliation with accounting.
Working with box office to build events and partner presales in ticketing systems and manage process through show day.
Support VP of Finance, Ticketing & Strategy on ticket scaling, pricing and modeling.
Creating seating plans mapping out comps for each event.
Working with Creative Studios team to provide assets for all show needs.
Assist in marketing campaigns for all live events (digital/on air/outdoor, etc)
Traveling to events to assist in on site ticket/fulfillment management.
Working on theater and B2B events produced by NPG in ad hoc capacity as needed.
Helping to prepare ticketing presentations.
Coordinating directly with sales/client partnerships teams on all partner needs around ticketing.
Working with Senior Coordinator on overall fulfillment process for events.
Assist SVP & VP with any ad hoc analysis or events projects.
The Ticketing Manager must possess:
4+ years of ticketing experience – TM1 & AXS Experience preferred.
Ability to read audits.
Strong quantitative & analytical skills
Mastery of Excel as well as a good working knowledge of PowerPoint.
Digital marketing experience a plus.
A real willingness to learn, to “roll up your sleeves” and dig into detailed numbers, reconciliations etc; attention to detail is also very important for this role as well as the confidence to ask questions and provide/challenge ideas
Ability to be proactive and to balance multiple responsibilities and tasks as well as work under pressure and meet tight deadlines with accurate information – the NPG Events business is a very fast paced, ever changing business and can be a demanding environment at times
Professional presence with strong interpersonal & communication skills
Willingness to travel and work event weekends required.
