The goal of KIS Technologies is to create a smart, secure, simple ticketing ecosystem for kiosks, general admission, parking, and RFID. Our flagship products, KIS Kiosk and KIS Ticket, offer a robust set of features in an all-in-one, simple, integrated system.

We are headquartered in Plano, TX which is considered to be one of the most desirable cities to live and work. Job Summary

KIS Technologies is currently seeking a Director of Software Engineering to oversee the KIS team of engineers dedicated to multiple software product lines. You will direct, design, and manage all of our software and hardware products with in-house, contracted and overseas teams. You will be responsible for building a team of excellent individuals as well as defining the tools, strategy and roadmap for our technical solutions at KIS. This position has a ton of potential for upward mobility as you will be in charge of all of our technology. You will report directly to the President.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate is someone with experience in building solid engineering teams while working in a fast-paced, startup environment. Experience in e-commerce, Android, and iOS applications is also desired. We are looking for someone who can be a leader on our management team and desires to get on the ground floor of a rapidly growing company. You will have experience in managing and growing highly productive software teams while delivering B-to-B and B-to-C mobile and SaaS applications.

All of our services are hosted in AWS, therefore cloud management experience is required, preferably AWS. Experience in some or all of these solutions is preferred.

Jira, Confluence, Miro, Zeplin, Invision, Zoho, Hubspot
Experience in networking and desktop applications

Requirements

5+ years of software development experience
2+ years of managing software engineers
Bachelor’s Degree
US work authorization (required)
