The Assistant Director of Ticketing oversees the creation and management of all events in the Ticketmaster Archtics ticketing system, services as manager on duty for events on a rotating basis, and is acting leader of the ticketing department in the absence of the Director of Ticketing.
Primary Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Program events for sale in Ticketmaster's Host, Archtics, and Account Manager Systems
Submit changes and revisions to events through Ticketmaster's Event Management and TM1 tools
Create new price scales as needed
Check event builds, offers, and price changes for completion and accuracy
Act as Manager on Duty and prepare box office settlements during select DPAC Broadway, concert, comedy, and special events
Prepare daily and weekly tickets sales and season ticket reports for internal staff as well as co-promoters and partners
Oversee the management and implementation of “Platinum Tickets” using Ticketmaster’s Platinum Tool
In tandem with the Marketing and Programming departments, Director of Ticketing, and co-promoters, manage inventory for events and open holds as needed
Assist part time call center and box office staff as questions and problems arise. This includes continuous training in new events and procedures
Supervise and oversee the job duties of part-time Ticketing Supervisor staff. 3 part-time Ticketing Supervisors report to this position.
Build and foster relationships with co-promoters and partners including but not limited to Carolina Ballet, AEG, NS2, Live Nation, and Broadway agents and management staff.
Develop a growing knowledge of industry standard ticketing policies and become a master in Ticketmaster tools and products
Serve as first point of contact for the Ticket Office in the absence of the Director of Ticketing
Other duties as assigned
This is a position that will require a very flexible work schedule and the individual will incur long, continuous and demanding hours including some nights and weekends.
This position is full-time salaried, non-exempt and reports to the Director of Ticketing. This position also works closely with other DPAC staff including the entire Ticketing team, Marketing team, Business Management, Director of Programming, and Director of Event Services as well as external promoters, agents, and partners.

Requirements and Qualifications:
Ticketing Experience Required
Experience with Ticketmaster Archtics strongly preferred
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Proficient computer skills with the following Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Excel, Word
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks with frequent interruptions and conflicting deadlines
Supervisory experience required
Experience working in customer service preferred
Weekend, Evening, and Holiday hours required
