Title of Immediate Supervisor: Director of Athletic Operations & Communications

Duration: (1) Academic year (renewed annually)

Anticipated Start: June 2022

Compensation: Tuition waivers up to 9 credit hours per academic semester, 18 credit hours per academic year

Hours: At least 20 hours per week (additional hours expected on busier weeks)

Purpose of Position:

The Daemen College Department of Athletics seeks a highly motivated, self-starter to serve as an Athletics Operations Graduate Assistant. The position requires assistance in daily operations within the Athletic Department, game & event management, ticket reconciliation, and concessions inventory & purchasing.

Tasks/Duties Performed: Expected Duties:

-Ability to balance cash boxes before / after events -Reconcile admission tickets following events -Keep detailed inventory of concessions items -Oversee ordering schedule of concession items through multiple vendors -Act as game / event administrator to ensure event fluidity -Assist in game / event staff management & supervision -Assist in the development of game day staff scripts, protocols, and PA scripts -Assist in major rentals requiring multiple administrators on site -Additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

-Graduate program selection approved -Must be eligible to be a Graduate Student at Daemen College Must possess the ability to adhere to and comply with NCAA, ECC, Department and College rules and regulations. -Ability to commit to athletic games and events -Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, college breaks, and some holidays. -Ability to count and handle money in a fast paced, high stress environment -Must exhibit customer service traits and strong communication skills -Must have a reliable source of transportation
