Birmingham-Southern College has an opening for Assistant Sports Information Director of Game Management. This 10-month position will assist the Sports Information Director in publicizing all 22 Birmingham-Southern College varsity athletic programs. Birmingham-Southern College is a member of the Southern Athletic Association and a member of the NCAA at the Division III level.

Job Responsibilities - Assist in the maintenance of the athletic department website, and compile game and season statistics. - Assist with producing programs, recruiting material, press releases, and multimedia content. - Assist in social media initiatives, and scheduling strategy execution. - Engage with program coaching staffs to identify their needs for both game-day operations as well as publicizing their programs/athletes - Manage live streaming at all home athletic events - Responsible for game day management to include ticketing and concession areas. - Responsible for promotional activities to take place during athletic events - Manages, recruits, schedules, and retains student workers assisting in athletic game management - Other duties as assigned

Bachelor's degree is required. Basic graphic design experience is required Solid understanding of sports and sports statistics. Strong writing and communication skills. Ability to organize, prioritize and strong problem-solving skills required. Proficiency in Photoshop and InDesign preferred.
