This position assists the Ticket Manager with all aspects of the Ticket Office for the Athletic Department. Assist with supervision of student workers and work in collaboration with External Operations staff and Athletic Development leadership on events.
TICKET OPERATIONS – 50%
Assist in oversight of the Ticket Office day-to-day operations, as well as the sale and distribution of tickets to all home and select away athletic events and select non-athletic events in the McCarthey Athletic Center
Administer game day ticket operations for assigned soccer, volleyball, basketball and baseball events
Use Paciolan ticketing system in assisting with ticket and donation reconciliations, cash management, data entry, and event operations
Program events within Paciolan t.res and e.venue systems
Assist with renewal and new customer season ticket processes.
Assist with administration of allotment of tickets for visiting schools, season ticket holders, and public sale while adhering to NCAA rules regarding compliance of complimentary tickets for student athletes, coaches and athletic department staff.
Assist with distribution of tickets at select away and neutral site men’s basketball games.
Administer student and faculty/staff ticket distribution for assigned home events and track attendance.
Serve in a customer service role to promote Gonzaga and its Athletic Department and resolve customer issues at the Ticket Office and home events.
ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES – 35%
Under the supervision of the Ticket Manager, responsible for maintaining fiscally sound records and internal controls for the Ticket Office including event/game audits, reconciliation and deposits following each event also including ZAG and other donations and daily funds received by the Ticket Office and Athletic Department.
Ensure all transactions maintain PCI compliance as mandated by the University.
Ensure all transactions adhere to University cash handling requirements.
In conjunction with the Ticket Manager, coordinate hiring, training and assigning work to student staff including use of the ticket system, fiscal practices and NCAA compliance.
Answer phone calls pertaining to tickets, donations and miscellaneous athletic department business.
Ability to identify prospective donors & customers for upsell and cross-sale opportunities related to tickets, events & ZAG member benefit access.
Represent Ticket Office in weekly staff and event management meetings.
NCAA COMPLIANCE
Employees of Gonzaga University’s Athletic Department must comply with all NCAA rules and regulations, and acknowledge this compliance as part of an evaluation process.
Other Functions
Assists other members of the Athletic department during peak periods and with special workload projects.
Incumbent may represent the department on University-wide committees or projects as assigned and approved by the supervisor.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree
Two years professional experience working in a collegiate athletic department, ticket office, or related field
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a timely manner in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work effectively in a diverse university, community and athletic department environment
