POSITION OVERVIEW: This position reports to the Assistant Athletic Director for Tickets. This position is responsible for leading the athletic ticket sales communication efforts that encourage and support the development of Stetson’s fan base and alumni as well as providing competitive platforms for teams and individuals competing in the ASUN Conference and Pioneer Football League. The position is responsible for ensuring compliance with all federal, state, NCAA, conference and university regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS: The qualifications and skill requirements for this position include: (May be narrative or bullet points) Bachelor’s degree required and minimum one to three years’ experience within an athletics department. Willingness to learn Banner, Argos, Adobe, Photoshop, TicketReturn and ARMS software systems that are essential to optimizing job performance. Ability to lead and mentor our student workers, while creating a positive and productive work environment. Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations. Proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, fellow employees, program boosters and the public. Ability to communicate effectively with highly honed interpersonal skills. The possession and maintenance of a Florida driver’s license and acceptable driving record is required.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The essential job functions and responsibilities: (Add bullet points as needed) •Responsible for leading all ticket communications in an effort to drive ticket sales. •Creates emails, both design and copy, that are sent to the Athletics database regarding renewals, events, incentives, ticket promotions, and more. •Ability to create graphics, GIFS, videos, infographics, etc. to use in email and online social networking campaigns, such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, while also staying current with social media campaigning trends. •Maintains and provides daily content for @HatterTickets, the official twitter account of the Hatter Ticket Office. •Ability to stay superbly organized with staff scheduling for office hours and events, revenue tracking and reporting. •Works with compliance staff, coaching staff members and visiting team ticket staff to ensure we are compliant with complimentary admissions per NCAA rules and game contract obligations. •Perform outbound calls and service inbound calls for the ticket office for all ticketed sports. •Maintains accurate records of all prospecting activities and sales in ticketing database. •Performs essential game day responsibilities. •Works closely with compliance staff to ensure all ticketing communications and distributions are compliant with NCAA, ASUN and Pioneer Football League regulations. •Assists Assistant Athletic Director for Tickets with supervising up to 25 student employees by hiring, training and scheduling all staff according to athletic department and customer needs. •Assist Assistant Athletic Director for Tickets in managing, updating, and maintaining daily actions in the ticket software system (TicketReturn), including the setup for online promotion, sales and purchase of season tickets, single game tickets and all special promotional offers. •Provides exceptional customer service to all potential and current customers and proactively contribute to the resolution of any client issues while building and maintaining relationships with season ticket holders. •Performs other site and position specific functions as assigned.
