Duties and Responsibilities

This position will fully support the mission and objectives of the Department of Athletics, The United States Air Force Academy and the Air Force Academy Athletic Corporation. The position will directly support the Football’s recruiting program to include but not limited to:

Creation and execution of the 12 months recruiting calendar including the creation of mail, video, graphics, social media, and any other means of recruiting.

Independently identify, view, collect data and video, etc. on future offensive and defensive prospects through available and permissible sources and provide direction, input and make recommendations to the Director of Recruiting

Constantly monitor permissible recruiting websites to provide updates and follow up on committed prospects and identify prospect coaches.

Monitor permissible social media to provide unique and specific graphic designs to aid in personalizing recruiting material to prospective student athletes.

Create and maintain recruiting lists.

Create and maintain a recruiting database and recruiting radar.

Coordinate the securing, evaluating and filling of transcripts for selected prospects.

Supervise planning and coordination of official and unofficial visits to campus (Itineraries, travel, hotel, host, meals, seating charts, compliance paperwork, complimentary tickets, etc.).

Assist and /or serves as the Director of Recruiting during un-official and official visits to include: Game day agenda, briefings, tickets, tours, lodging, travel, meals and other items as necessary.

Ensures the completion of admissions paperwork associated with accepting offers to be a part of the USAFA.

Serves as a liaison between prospects and Recruiting / USAFA as needed.

Directs, guides and mentors student managers daily on duties related to recruiting

Accountable for NCAA funds disbursements to student athletes for official visits.

Requirements

Undergraduate degree from a 4 year institution
Prior athletic experience in football highly recommended
Knowledgeable in: Adobe creative cloud, Photoshop illustrator, adobe premier, after effects, excel, PowerPoint
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and successfully pass a background investigation. Random drug testing is required.
