Job Summary: The Director of Revenue Growth will be responsible for leading multiple sales campaigns for athletic events and spaces in an attempt to generate new and renewable revenue streams for Redbird Athletics. This position will partner with Development in the generation of lead sheets and sales strategies. This position will be responsible for creating a training program that inspires the sales team to continuously improve and drive revenue while maximizing their potential.
Required Qualifications 1. Bachelor’s degree (Transcript required - may be unofficial) 2. One (1) year of full-time or part-time equivalent experience working in sales, development, operations, or related field. Note: Master’s Degree in an area consistent with the duties of the position may be substituted for one (1) year of work experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Division I Collegiate Athletics Fundraising Experience
Work Hours: Core work hours: Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. in an office environment and all events/activities as dictated by the athletic department schedule. Evening, weekend, and holiday work is frequently required.
Functional Expectations: Must be able to complete the following with or without a reasonable accommodation: 1. Remain at workstation for extended periods. 2. Move about in various locations across campus as needed to complete day-to-day work.3. Effectively communicate on a daily basis.
