The University of Houston is seeking qualified applicants to join our sales team as an account executive in both the areas of new sales and ticket retention. The roles require a person that is customer service centric, detailed oriented with high-energy and a passion for ticket sales.
Duties
Ticket Sales 1. Meet daily KPI objectives via outbound cold calls, external events and face-to-face appointments 2. Proactive approach developing new business opportunities through community engagement events 3. Ability to create new sales leads through prospecting, networking events and referrals 4. Exceed sales and revenue goals set weekly, monthly and yearly 5. Understanding of Cougar Pride development and fundraising principles 6. Develop an in-depth knowledge of UH Athletic ticketing products, sales policies and procedures 7. Maintain accurate, detailed records of clients and prospects through Salesforce CRM system 8. Work assigned sales team events both internal and external to create new sales opportunities 9. Serve as spokesperson/ambassador for the Athletics Department and the University of Houston. At all times and in all settings represent the Department and University in a way that positively reflects and grows affinity for all things UH. 10. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Ability to build relationships with a book of business and retain season ticket holders at a high level 3. Achieve set ticket sales and revenue goals on a weekly, monthly and yearly basis 4. Identify potential opportunities to upsell or cross-sell seat holders to other UH Athletic Events 5. Understanding of Cougar Pride development and fundraising principles 6. Develop an in-depth knowledge of UH Athletic ticketing products, sales policies and procedures 7. Maintain accurate, detailed records of clients and prospects through Salesforce CRM system 8. Work assigned sales team events both internal and external to create new sales opportunities 9. Serve as spokesperson/ambassador for the Athletics Department and the University of Houston.
