The Associate Creative Director (Graphic Artist/UKAD) supports UK Athletics brand and products visually through the creation of a wide range of professional and time sensitive graphic artwork including: print, web, social media, brochures, posters, schedule cards, billboards and web pages. The Graphic Artist will be involved with all aspects of layout, illustration, mock-ups through final composite artwork, and will collaborate with UKAD Marketing, communications, ticketing and teams in developing and implementing season-long promotional campaigns for specific sports. Other duties include but are not limited to: creating and producing miscellaneous artwork (letterhead, newsletters, logos, fliers) as needed: oversee creative services academic interns; assist in the oversight of Lytho project mgt and proofing system and project archives; manage inventory of printed materials ordered.
The successful candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, as well as being deadline driven, ability to manage multiple projects and detailed oriented, with a teamwork mentality. A minimum of two year’s experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in graphic design or related field with experience in sports-related industry preferred. Qualified applicants must be proficient with InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, MS Word, PowerPoint and general knowledge of corporate branding as it relates to graphic design. Knowledge of other Adobe CC apps, including AfterEffects, beneficial but not required . The position will require the flexibility to work weekends and evenings.
