The Fox Theatre in Atlanta seeks a motivated, well-qualified candidate with experience managing event ticketing operations to lead the Fox Theatre ticketing department as Ticket Operations Manager.
The Ticket Operations Manager will manage all ticket operations for the Fox Theatre, one of the highest grossing theatres worldwide. This position will work with the Director of Ticketing to implement the latest ticketing trends with the goal of creating the best possible guest experience.
Major Responsibilities:
Manage relationships with ticketing partners to include, but not not be limited to Paciolan and data management vendors;
Supervise Ticket Office reconciliations and perform internal Ticket Office financial auditing. Prepare and complete nightly box office statements and communicate with Accounting regarding settlement requirements;
Manage all aspects of the ticket inventory including creating show builds according to promotor specifications, building ticket offers and discounts, managing inventory, setting up presales, on-sales, and fan club offers;
Implement the latest ticketing and related technologies that align with the Fox Theatre's brand and business;
Serve as primary contact for show promoters and clients;
Lead the development of guests service systems, philosophy, policies, processes, and procedures for the Ticketing Department that align with the organization's mission and guest services brand;
Hire, develop, and coach the Ticketing staff to ensure optimal performance and alignment with organizational values and brand;
Coordinate with all departments to ensure that internal and external guest ticketing needs are being met and exceeded;
Other duties as directed.
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university preferred, equivalent experience considered;
Minimum 5-7 years of experience managing event ticketing operations, sales and personnel;
Must have experience developing and implementing quality assurance programs and measurements;
Must have extensive experience working with ticketing software (preferably Paciolan) and Microsoft Office Products;
Demonstrated competencies in the areas of oral and written communications, customer service and business ethics are required;
Must have experience conducting financial reconciliations, statements, and reporting;
Must have experience working in an environment where customer service is a priority;
Must be able to maintain a positive attitude at all times;
Essential Physical Requirements:
Should be able to remain stationary for long periods;
Should be able to traverse the venue, including moving between floors:
Occasionally required to stoop or lift light materials or equipment.
Other Requirements:
Must be able to work variable shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed;
