The University Athletic Association at the University of Florida is searching for an Assistant Director of Ticket Operations to maintain the Ticket Office computer ticketing systems and train employees on the functionality of the system. This position builds/creates all manifests in Archtics and creates all events on Ticketmaster Host system. This position is also responsible for the oversight of multiple sports/ ticket operations and may assist other ticket office employees with the ticket operations for their assigned sport(s). Assists in the coordination of day-to-day operations within the Ticket Office. This positing will remain open until a qualified candidate is chosen.
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
Four years of progressively responsible ticketing experience
One year of cash handling experience
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted in lieu of the degree requirement
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft applications and ticket system software
Effective communication and customer service skills
Organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented, independent thinker with strong analytical skills
Ability to multi-task effectively
Ability to work a non-standard work week which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays
Ability to engage effectively with others of diverse cultures or backgrounds
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in an intercollegiate or professional athletic environment
Experience with Ticketmaster Archtics system
