The overall purpose of this position is to serve as the spokesperson for the Department of Athletics, both verbal and written, and serve as the primary liaison between the department and various publics, including media, alumni, digital followers, student-athletes, fans, corporate partners and sponsors, community at-large, and the University community. This position uses every means available to distribute news, information, statistics, publications, etc., with an emphasis on reporting on all activities within the Department of Athletics. Serve as primary media contact for TTU Athletics. Assemble and communicate information in a positive manner to media outlets and several publics.
