The University Athletic Association at the University of Florida is searching for a Director of Player Athletic Development to direct the football sports science team that manages GPS units for practice and games. Responsibilities include: managing and assisting in all sports science data collection for the Gators Football team; managing and assisting in the “return to play” for injured student-athletes; managing other tools that provide data for performance or to maintain player health (NordBord, ForceFrame, Force Plates, Catapult, etc); and oversight of the maintenance and budget for all sports science equipment.
